[あらすじ]
昆虫好きの少年・中村翔吾は母・香織と2 人で暮らしている。翔吾に昆虫採集を教えた父・徹はインドに単身赴任中である。
冬休みに入り、ひとりで黙々と昆虫採集を続ける翔吾はアメリカからの帰国子女・川上花音に弟子入りを懇願されて、昆虫採集や標本の作り方を教えるようになる。
年末、徹がインドから帰国してから、翔吾は大人たちの相矛盾する死生観に気付きはじめる。
徹はインドやブータンの価値観に影響され、昆虫の標本を作ることに疑問をおぼえていて、肉・魚を食べないようになっていた。
花音の母・陽子は昆虫標本を忌み嫌い、触りもしない。
翔吾の祖父・正は半年前に亡くなった妻・弥生の遺灰を人のように扱って話しかけている。
「死」とは何かと疑問に思いはじめた翔吾がとった大胆な行動とは・・・

[Story]
An elementary school boy, Shogo, catches insects and collects them at home every day during his school's winter break. 
Shogo knows there is a much larger insect collection in his father's room, which is always locked. 
But when his father Toru comes back from his job overseas, where he is touched by the reincarnation philosophy of India and Bhutan, he tells Shogo that he doesn't want to collect insects anymore. 
Shogo's grandfather, Tadashi, treats his dead wife's ashes as a living figure, but the noodles Tadashi gives her remains in a bowl. 
“Has grandma reincarnated into something else?” Seeing adults' different views of life and death, Shogo wonders what death is all about.

[あらすじ]
ある夏の日、6歳の少女・咲菜は年上のムスリムの少年・アミンと共に小さな旅に出る。
道中の光景や人々との出会いを通じて、咲菜の心にある記憶が浮かび上がってくる。
飯田泰幸の柔らかいギターの音色、ジプシー音楽バンド・▲s（ピラミッドス）が奏でる不思議な旋律に包まれた、
戦後70周年の夏の記録。
邦画初となるモスクでのロケ撮影を実施。

[あらすじ]

[あらすじ]

What is the difference between children and adults?
Nine-year-old Motoho gave herself this assignment for summer break homework and in order to answer her question she goes around the neighborhood interviewing people.

[あらすじ]
「世界で生産される食料の3分の1は食べられることなく廃棄されている」という状況を変えるため、オーストリアから日本にやってきたダービド・グロス。
日本でも年間 643万トンもの食料が廃棄されており、食品ロスは世界トップクラスという現実があった。
旅のパートナーのニキとともにオリジナルキッチンカーで日本全国をめぐる旅に出たダービドは、旅の道中で出会った日本人シェフたちとともに捨てられる運命にある食べ物をおいしい料理に生まれ変わらせる「もったいないキッチン」を日本各地でオープンさせ、食品ロスの問題をおいしく、そして楽しく解決していく。
 

[Story]
A culinary road movie, tackling the issue of food waste and other environmental issues in Japan, searching for sustainable solutions.
The film follows filmmaker and food activist David Gross as he discovers the fascinating Japanese concept of “Mottainai“, meets local chefs, scientists and farmers while creating tasty recipes for a “Zero Waste Kitchen Revolution."
Gross travels across Japan for 4 weeks and only cooks with ingredients that others call waste.
On his journey he meets chefs, farmers, activists and scientists and is supported by Nikki, his translator and colleague.
The two drive a mobile kitchen created by young designers using recycled materials.
Mottainai Kitchen is a film that combines purpose and fun, whetting your appetite for a sustainable future.
